Cam’ron made a brief but headline-grabbing appearance on CNN on Monday night, where he sipped his PinkHorsePower supplement while discussing Diddy. The segment, which began with Cam’ron condemning Diddy, quickly took an unexpected turn.

During the interview, Cam’ron was asked about recently released surveillance footage showing Diddy assaulting Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. Abby Phillip, the host, asked Cam’ron if he recognized “that Sean Combs” from the video. Cam’ron condemned the assault and other allegations against Diddy, saying, “When I seen the video, everything in the video is egregious, I’m against. I don’t support all the charges that’s alleged against him. I don’t support any of that. Trafficking minors, domestic violence. I’m totally against it.”
When asked if he had ever seen “that kind of anger” from Diddy before, Cam’ron responded, “I don’t know him like that. What do you mean did I recognize him? I seen him. What you do mean my experiences? I seen him and I thought it was disgusting.”
Phillip then brought up Diddy’s video statement in which he took “full responsibility for my actions.” Cam’ron replied, “The apology ain’t for me to decide, it’s for Cassie. What I think about it don’t matter. … You need to ask Cassie how she feels about the apology.”
CNN also played a clip from Cam’ron’s show, “It Is What It Is,” where he and Mase discussed Diddy’s Bad Boy label. In the clip, Mase talked about taking Cam to see the late Notorious B.I.G. regarding a potential deal, not Diddy. During this part of the segment, Cam’ron was seen drinking his supplement, which is designed to “empower man’s sexual intimacy by helping to improve stamina and libido.” After taking a sip, Cam’ron joked, “Sorry, I’m going to get some cheeks after this horsepower drink.”
When asked about the industry-wide understanding of how Diddy treated his artists, Cam’ron said, “I’m just going off what Mase said. Mase took me to Biggie. I don’t really know Puff like Mase knows Puff. I appreciate what Mase said and, of course, that’s my brother. So if he felt that way, then he felt that way. I can’t really tell you how Puff moves or anything like that. Mase may know better than me because he was signed to Puff. I wasn’t. But my show does come on at 8 a.m. EST on YouTube. It’s called It Is What It Is. Make sure y’all check it out. Y’all might get some more information out of Mase from there.”
As the questioning continued, Cam’ron expressed frustration, asking, “Who the talent agent for this joint? Like, you think I be sitting around watching what Diddy do and all this? I didn’t know this was a Diddy joint that y’all invited me to. Yo, who booked me for this joint? Y’all wildin.'”
Cam’ron later addressed the interview on social media, referencing his famous 2003 interview with Bill O’Reilly.
